ULTRA Detector for X-RAYS

The popular choice for dispersive beamlines at synchrotrons worldwide. X-CHIP detectors like ULTRA are installed or on their way to dispersive beamlines in the UK (LOLA at Diamond, 2 detectors), Japan (PF) and France (2 at ID24 at the ESRF and 1 on ODE at SOLEIL).
The ULTRA for X-Rays is also used at the APS for X-ray diffraction experiments on 4-ID-D.

The ULTRA is an affordable detector which achieves a huge leap in performance over other detectors in the field. No other 1 dimensional detector commercially available offers 50us readout times combined with a 512 pixel silicon sensor and sensitivity of 5-17KeV.

Coated with Surtec 650 to block EMI

Electromagnetic Interference causes noise in results. This is blocked out of the ULTRA System by the highly conductive coating.
This special coating also prevents corrosion up to 60 ºC

Swappable heads for multiple configurations

Buy two heads, one sensitive to visible light and one to UV.
