Quantum Detectors is a brand new company based on proven cutting edge technology
Quantum detectors offer detection systems which are the fruits of many years of advanced research and development in the field of scientific discovery. Many of the systems employ proprietary technology previously unavailable to commercial customers. We offer this in infra-red, visible, ultra-violet and X-ray regions.
Quantum Detectors was introduced in September 2007, to promote a wider exploitation of detectors developed for Synchrotron, LASER and other large scale facility applications inside and outside of their native UK.
The company is the first technology spinout from Daresbury Laboratory to be sited in the new Daresbury Innovation Centre on the UK government instigated Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus opened by Lord Sainsbury in 2006.
